About this entry, this is based on my favorite rockstar band that had passed away. I love their song from all the album. Through years, some of these rockstar may have changed their way of music. And also some of these rockstar may have been working in other bands too.
As you know i like metal music such as alternate rock, grunge music, death metal and nu metal. This is my list of my favorites rockstar. This make me feels young as i hear them.
1. Kurt Cobain
Who doesnt know this leader from Nirvana. He invented the grunge metal, which is the most favorite band during the 90s. My aunt introduced me into Nirvana when i was a kid . The first song i heard from them is Come as you are. When i was around 16 yo, i liked Smells like teen spirit. And through my first semester of college i listen to their album.
2. Chris Cornell
He is the leader of bands like Soundgarden and Audioslave. First i listen to their song is around my college years. The song that i like the most are Black hole sun and Like a stone. This band produce alternate rock music. Which is loved by youngster. And the outfit also fit to the teenagers like sneakers,shirt and baggy jeans.
3. Chester Bennington
He was best known for leader vocalist of Linkin Park. His voice and screams were the best and fit to their songs. This band also famous around 00s where all the emo kid love their song which is Numb. This band created Nu metal, which is something new in the history of metal rather being a rough,metallic and hardcore. Nu metal is a mix of elements like hip hop,alternate rock,rap and remix. As a child, i used to hear this band on the radio. i liked Papercut and Somewhere i belong. Not to forget their success hit album like Meteora and Hybrid theory.
4. Chuck Schuldiner
This guy here, Chuck, is the founder of band named Death. Now we know that Kurt is the godfather of grunge. Chuck in the other hand is the godfather of death metal. He created death metal from 80s which something new to the metal music at that time. Although he created death, he is not that scary guy. He is friendly and loved cats. The album that i like from them are Leprosy, Spiritual healing and The sound of perseverance. He also had insane fast fingerpicking guitar skills. Their artwork from album like Leprosy give me a nightmare when i was a kid. hahaha... well that what death metal should look right?
This are the rockstar that i missed. Their song are also great at the times. And still today, people still hears them through youtube. Hell, i liked metal so much.
